Michal’s trip to St. Abbs

Mid-October group of Putney BSAC decided to venture up north and had a lovely weekend in St Abbs…. How nice and easy it would be, hey ?

Well diving late-ish in season and in the North Sea – what could possibly happen… well a lot – long journey, stormy / windy weather – all was in.

Anyways – end good all good – Paul, Tim, Mark, and me (Michal) had a lovely longish weekend in Rock House / aka St Abbs, on Saturday we also had the pleasure of the company of Becky and her mum Fiona. Due to stormy weather we only got a day of diving at the end but it was nice and easy exploration in the bay – lot of lobsters / dead man fingers, nudibranchs (no wolf fish … again…) … Rock house rocked again and we have cooked in – 2 lovely dinners with famous Putney St Abbs pancakes of course … Rumors goes that we will be back in year or two, perhaps combining with famous Farnes islands and more pancakes.
